I’ve been feeding my horses Vitalbix horse feed for some time now, and we’re huge fans of the products! Our horses live at home on our Paddock Paradise, and I believe good nutrition is very important. I try to feed my horses as naturally as possible, and Vitalbix horse feed fits in perfectly with that. I feed the horses Daily Complete, NutriMash, and Fiber Mix, and our foal gets Breed & Grow. After switching to Vitalbix, the horses started eating their feed with gusto again, and I noticed they became fitter and had more energy. When our foal first arrived, he had a very dull coat, but after two weeks on Breed & Grow, his coat started to shine beautifully, and he’s clearly doing well on the feed!
The perfect support for our horses!
For several years now, we have been feeding our horses—as well as those in (rehabilitation) training—Vitalbix products. We chose this option because we were not comfortable feeding regular horse pellets due to the fillers and sugars they contain, and the lack of beneficial nutrients that actually benefit the horse.We are strong advocates of a diet consisting of roughage, supplemented with a vitamin and mineral pellet to ensure the horses receive sufficient vitamins and minerals for proper muscle development and recovery from injuries. This way, we do not unnecessarily burden the horse’s digestive system with sugars, allowing it to function optimally.So far, we haven’t encountered a horse that truly doesn’t like Vitalbix. Some horses that have been on high-sugar pellets for years need a little time to get used to it because it isn’t as sweet, but we always see them perk up very quickly here in terms of muscle tone and weight. And it makes their coats shine so beautifully! The nutrition experts at Vitalbix have assessed the horses at our stable and put together personalized advice. If we have questions about a (new) horse at our stable, they’re always happy to help us figure things out!We’re super happy with Vitalbix.
