STEP 1 – SUPPORT HEALTHY GUT FLORA with Vitalbix NutriMash 14 kg
This mash, enriched with prebiotic fibers, supports healthy gut flora and, consequently, your horse’s immune system. After all, healthy gut flora is essential for a strong immune system! Is your horse prone to loose stools? NutriMash helps prevent loose stools and is therefore a favorite among horses with sensitive digestive systems. This Mash is also convenient for you: it only needs to soak for 5 minutes. Whether you use cold or warm water is up to you; both work fine. Avoid boiling it, as this depletes the nutrients.

Like all Vitalbix products, Vitalbix NutriMash is low in sugar and starch, making it a healthy choice for every horse. For example, feed 200–400 grams as
a healthy treat after riding.
NutriMash is also ideal for horses that need to gain weight. Increase the dosage to 0.5 to 2 kg per day if your horse is too thin or tends to lose weight quickly in the fall.
STEP 2 – ADMINISTER A SAND CLEANSE with Vitalbix PsylliumMash 6 kg
Vitalbix PsylliumMash is a healthy mash containing 50% psyllium seeds. A unique mash that makes it easy to administer a (monthly) sand cure, suitable for every horse. Vitalbix PsylliumMash is made from timothy grass and contains no alfalfa. Thanks to its low starch and sugar content (total 4.9%) and high digestibility, Vitalbix PsylliumMash is a responsible choice, even for horses that require a low-starch and low-sugar diet. It is also very palatable, easy to use, and quick to prepare. Administer a course of treatment once a month to once every three months to prevent the buildup of sand in the intestines.
STEP 3 – ADD OMEGA-3 FATTY ACIDS with Vitalbix Linseed Oil + Vitamin E 5L
Fresh grass contains healthy omega-3 fatty acids. These fatty acids are largely lost when grass is dried into hay. Supplementing these omega-3 fatty acids is therefore recommended during the winter months! You can easily do this with Vitalbix Linseed Oil + Vitamin E. A high-quality cold-pressed linseed oil that supplements the fatty acids in the diet. These fatty acids are essential for a strong immune system and have anti-inflammatory properties. Flaxseed oil supports a healthy stomach and intestines. Add approximately 10–20 ml of oil per 100 kg of body weight per day to the feed; that is 2 to 4 doses of 30 ml per day for a 500–600 kg horse. Is your horse losing weight quickly? Then you can slowly increase the amount to approximately 200 to 250 ml per day.
